Carolyn Eddy, a self-taught wire artist, has been teaching Gem Faire classes for over a decade. She has mastered the mechanics of wire-wrapping, and in the last 23 years she has developed a revolutionary, step by step, no stress method of teaching students how to design jewelry with wire (wire-wrapping). She has won numerous awards nationally and internationally. Her work has been shown in various art shows, fairs, and collections all across North America. Her passion for wire-wrapping, as well as years of experience teaching and judging fine art create an effective and innovative classroom environment. She has also authored three books including "Let's Get Wrapped!," "All Wrapped Up!," and "Let's Get Wrapped #2." Tools furnished for classroom use without charge. Samples of class projects & alternate class projects are on display at the show.
