Wire wrapping with Dean Bennett
Classes offered at Salt Lake City Gem Faires

Dean Bennett has been collecting and using stones for jewelry all his adult life.  He was fortunate six years ago to take a basic wire wrapping class and since that time has advanced artistically with his own techniques. He has taught numerous wrapping classes in northern Utah senior centers and in his home. Students will learn basic traditional principles while completing a piece to wear and be proud of. Most wire artists develop their own styles and techniques having learned the basic foundation methods. Dean’s classes emphasize that goal. Tools furnished for classroom use without charge. Samples of class projects will be on display.

Only 5 seats available per class, so be sure to reserve a spot in advance. A deposit of $25 (money order) reservation fee is required, remainder due before class time. Cancellation no later than 24 hours prior to class time will be accepted with a refund, after that time or no show – no refund. Cash or money order only, no credit/debit cards please.

Knotty Do-It-All classes with Sandra Younger
Sandra will be at most Costa Mesa Gem Faires.

Call Sandra at (760) 522-5081

Sandra has always liked cord jewelry for its simplicity & versatility. However, finishing the ends was a constant problem. End caps sometimes don't fit your leather/cord, often come loose, and can be expensive. Out of despair & desperation, she invented a precision tool, the Knotty Do-It-All, that takes the guess work out of creating uniform knotted end loops.

Find out how the Knotty Do-It-All, the ultimate cord knotting & design tool,
can turn your life around! You will learn how to make single, double & multi-strand leather or cotton necklaces without end caps!

Classes are conducted every hour throughout the weekend. Class fee is $20,
and does not include the tool. Bring your own beads!
