Wire wrapping with Dean Bennett
Classes offered at Salt Lake City Gem Faires

Dean Bennett has been collecting and using stones for jewelry all his adult life.  He was fortunate six years ago to take a basic wire wrapping class and since that time has advanced artistically with his own techniques. He has taught numerous wrapping classes in northern Utah senior centers and in his home. Students will learn basic traditional principles while completing a piece to wear and be proud of. Most wire artists develop their own styles and techniques having learned the basic foundation methods. Dean’s classes emphasize that goal. Tools furnished for classroom use without charge. Samples of class projects will be on display.

Only 5 seats available per class, so be sure to reserve a spot in advance. A deposit of $25 (money order) reservation fee is required, remainder due before class time. Cancellation no later than 24 hours prior to class time will be accepted with a refund, after that time or no show – no refund. Cash or money order only, no credit/debit cards please.

Make a silver ring with Neda & Milad
Classes offered at Costa Mesa & San Diego Gem Faires

Milad Rajabi has been in the jewelry industry since 2000. He is an international jewelry artist and metalsmith from Anaheim, CA. He attended and teaches jewelry making courses at various exhibitions and art organizations worldwide, including Tucson Jewelry & Gem Shows, and in Europe. He enjoys experimenting with different and new techniques. His work and jewelry have been exhibited in jewelry and handicraft exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, China, Turkey and Iran. Milad, as a child, started goldsmithing; and had a college major in gem cutting. He graduated from Gemological Institute of America in 2014. He has a strong interest in gemstones. Unique & unusual stones have been used in some of his collections. In addition, his wife Neda Mazdeh, who is a highly experienced jeweler, will be assisting with the classes.

Knotty Do-It-All demos with Sandra Younger
Sandra will be at most Costa Mesa Gem Faires

Call Sandra at (760) 522-5081

Sandra has always liked cord jewelry for its simplicity & versatility. However, finishing the ends was a constant problem. End caps sometimes don't fit your leather/cord, often come loose, and can be expensive. Out of despair & desperation, she invented a precision tool, the Knotty Do-It-All, that takes the guess work out of creating uniform knotted end loops.

Find out how the Knotty Do-It-All, the ultimate cord knotting & design tool,
can turn your life around! You will learn how to make single, double & multi-strand leather or cotton necklaces without end caps!

Demos are conducted every hour throughout the weekend.
Jewelry making workshop with Maria Dolegowski
Maria will be at Costa Mesa & Del Mar Gem Faires
Born and raised in New York City, Maria's jewelry making passion got started over 45 years ago in her grandmother's magical button box. She's been designing and selling for over 30 years on the wholesale & retail levels, and even on QVC when she was designated a "Best-of-the-Best Designer" for the State of New Jersey in 1995.

Since 1990, Maria's focus has primarily been on the spiritual side of jewelry: how it may become a touchstone on life's journey; how stone energies may work to support the wearer's needs; and even how we may use stone energies in jewelry to heal ourselves.

Please call Maria at (951) 553-0126 for registration & payment, and visit her web site at for more information. Walk-ups are welcome, provided space is available. Cash & credit cards are accepted.
All pre-paid students will receive a free gift of gemstone beads!
